Seventy-two water tanks strengthen distribution plans in Nzaui/Kilili/Kalamba
New storage capacity supports water schemes serving communities across the ward.

Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. distributed 72 tanks, each capable of holding 10,000 litres, to support water distribution in Nzaui/Kilili/Kalamba Ward. The county said the tanks would be assigned to 23 water schemes.
The additional storage is part of a programme to extend water connections to communities. In its announcement, the county estimated that the intervention would support access for 15,000 residents; an intended benefit of strengthening local storage and distribution.
Mutula also announced plans to drill a borehole at Matiliku Sub-county Hospital using the county’s drilling rig. That hospital water source was proposed at the time of publication, complementing the tank distribution already carried out.
