New partnerships commit support to water security and climate resilience
Agreements signed in Wote set out support for water systems, agriculture and community resilience.
Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. signed cooperation agreements with Anglican Development Services Eastern and Rural Water Management Solutions Kenya, placing dependable water services and climate resilience at the centre of the partnerships.
The county reported that ADS-E committed KSh 910 million over three years for work covering agriculture, water, sanitation, conservation, health and community resilience. The renewed water management partnership focuses on stronger systems, professional operation and the use of digital technology.
At the signing in Wote, Mutula called for responsible use of resources, protection of water infrastructure and results that residents could see.
