Residents of Kitise had a direct opportunity to discuss local needs with Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. at a public baraza concluding his tour of Kitise-Kithuki Ward. The gathering brought community concerns into the conversation about county investment.

According to the county’s report, the visit included commissioning the rehabilitated Kitise Water Project and reviewing construction at Londokwe Dam. Water access and healthcare featured prominently in the discussions with residents.

Mutula also announced a proposed modern market for Kitise to improve trading conditions and support local enterprise. The meeting brought together public consultation and a review of infrastructure already being delivered.
