Mbitini visit brings water, farming and community projects into focus
A ward tour connects local priorities with water projects, a pack house and community facilities.
Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. visited Mbitini Ward for a programme of project launches and commissioning, meeting residents along the way to discuss the services and facilities their communities need.
The county’s account lists the Ilengeni water project, Mutyambua Safe Water project, Kavuthu cold store and pack house, Mbeletu playing ground and Mbulutini drift among the developments featured during the tour. Together, they span household water supply, agricultural facilities, recreation and local access.
The visit also included the distribution of tents to four community groups to support their welfare activities. The programme brought practical development projects together with direct conversations about local priorities.
